Radio PBU

Internet Radio aims to ventilate a platform to nourish the young minds in various fields of life. Here at Radio PBU, education, technology, sports, health, beauty, cooking and film & music along with various awareness programmes are the main aspects that are broadly focused. The programmes broadcasted by Radio PBU can be heard across the country through its mobile application (which will be available easily in its website). The main objectives of Radio PBU is not only to empower, educate and entertain the youth but the entire mass.

Radio PBU is basically run by The Department of Mass Communication and Journalism of Cooch Behar Panchanan Barma University. This Department directs to promote and develop students who are interested in the fields of Media, Reporting, Journalism, Public Relations, Film Making, Advertisements, Radio Producers, Content Writers, etc., to name a few. The department is fully equipped with all the infrastructures that a student requires in order to pursue his/her dreams in the Media Industry.

The Department of Mass Communication and Journalism imparts its students with not just good theoretical knowledge about the subject, but also provides best practical environment providing them with DSLR Cameras, Video Cameras, a working Computer Lab and an Audio/Video Studio. The students will have plenty of experiences visiting the local and outdoor Media Houses and with special lectures delivered by the people who worked in the media industry.

Community Radio is also being established in the department that is designed to develop the region and its people, which will be produced, executed and run by the students of the department themselves. Therefore, we are inviting students and individuals who are seeking future in the Media industry to join this department.
